Second Gear

Located in Asheville’s River Arts District, the Second Gear project was a commercial renovation of a ten thousand square foot single story building.

The main objective was to convert an old warehouse space into an outdoor retailer shop, gelato café and an outdoor adventure tours and equipment rental space.

This objective included cutting in new openings for doors and windows to improve the daylighting and natural ventilation throughout, adding guests restrooms and fitting rooms, and installing all new plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
